“We the people” every constitution starts at this point. It clearly states that it is written by the people, for the people. It states the principles which were misused by the previous authority & makes sure that the nation will not suffer from the same crisis again. It mentions the approximately ideal situation for the survival of life & humanity. Thus, the anarchy & chaos is avoided.
But, the constitution solves problems for the nations. Does it work on the human resource? Does it work to create qualitative people? The answer is no. Why does this happen, there is a need to analyze this. One of the main reasons to this crisis, according to me, is the lack of planning in one’s own life. There is a need of a personal constitution, a constitution which talks about you, which reflects you. For this, we need to redefine equality, liberty & justice for us on a personal level.
Albert Einstein has stated in a quote that, ‘be a man of values not a man of success.’ The principle of equality suggests the same thing. We condemn others for the lack of discipline. We say that life today has become value-less because of the world outside. But, do we ever try to be the person of value? Do we ever see the principles before the profit? We expect others to play the role which we are not ready to play. This is inequality & it is thousand times horrible than all the other inequalities in the world put together.
The thing, which we always crave for is Liberty or the freedom to express, to choose, to think. Do we really use it? From the universities like Harvard thousands of CEO’s are provided to the various companies all over the world. But, is that what is really expected? No, obviously not. We only use the liberty to follow. We have lost the creativity. Are we the path-makers? Are we the job givers? Are we the game-changers? Ask these questions to yourself & see the miracle. Because as it is said, ‘It takes strength to fit in & courage to stand out.’
Do justice with yourself. If you behave well, according to your plan, reward yourself. If you don’t, if you break the values & principles, punish yourself a bit & look forward to not making the same mistake again. Nobody is ever going to judge you. But your mind won’t let you live easily unless you admit them. Write about your mistakes. Promise yourself not to make them again. But, don’t be too harsh on yourself. Because, even the Indian penal code, doesn’t punish a person twice under the same crime.
Listen to your inner voice, live, love, laugh, dance, cherish every moment. The personal constitution has to be decided by the individual after-all, because, it is by him, for him. An old saying goes, ‘If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.’ It is true. You should know your strengths & weaknesses. You should have a plan to tackle every situation in your life which is suitable to you. Let us make this new constitution today & celebrate it as our ‘republic day’.
sensible pointers!!!
