Who are you: Million dollar baby or Rocky balboa?

Maggie Fitzgerald enters the boxing ring. Everybody is looking at her. She is calm & peaceful. Her eyes are showing the confidence & determination. Her opponent arrives. Both of them exchange penetrating glances. Referee begins the match. Maggie looks in the eyes of her opponent & punches with full force & power. Referee announces the result, ‘Maggie is the winner’. Her opponent who is knocked out is still wondering what exactly went wrong.

The game has started half an hour ago. The opponent is hitting hard punches on Rocky balboa’s face. People in the stadium are bored by seeing this one-way match. People are hooting at Rocky. His opponent is punching him hard & celebrating his control over the game. At one point of the match, Rocky stands up by holding the ring. He is tired, but determined. He starts punching his opponent with the vigour in his mind. He punches accurately, without giving any chance to the opponent & turns the course of the match. With one final knock-out punch, he finishes the match. Referee declares Rocky as the winner of the match. 

  

Maggie Fitzgerald has the in-born talent. She knows nothing but victory. And to prove that, she needs only the first round. Her willpower is stronger than the adversities & obstacles. Rocky balboa lacks the will & talent to win in the first round. But his determination tells him that he has to win; no matter what happens. He knows the opponent is better than him, but that doesn’t mean; he should never try. Rocky allows the opponent to fight till his energy exhausts. He waits for the right time & then proves his superiority.

If our life is a boxing ring, we have to win every match which takes place there. It doesn’t matter, whether the opponent is a Newcomer or the World Heavyweight Champion. We have to give our best. If we have to prove it, we will have to analyze our strengths & weaknesses first. We will have to look out for the opportunities & threats in front of us. i.e. we will have to know who we are. 

Only a few of us are as talented as Maggie Fitzgerald, who can knock-out the opponent in the first round only. These million dollar babies have god-gifted powers which make them special. But this represents only a small, highly talented class. What about the rest of us. Yes, you guessed right. We all are like Rocky balboa. Though we’re punched by the opponents in our face, we don’t lose the will & determination. We fight back till the opponent is knocked out.

It is very important in life, to decide who you are & fight accordingly. Because nobody comes in this world as winner. And if he wins the particular game, he is still not a proclaimed winner. Because, in the last minute, the player who has willpower, strength & tactics becomes the winner. So, always remember, no matter how hard & tough the opponent is, ‘we have got ourselves a game.’
